What is Talekai?

Talekai is an interactive story app for every genre. You pick a genre, from fantasy, romance, mystery, sci-fi and horror to manhwa favorites like regression, set your hero, and then choose or type what happens next. The story is written for you scene by scene, in chapters, and it remembers what came before.

Is Talekai free?

Yes. Every reader gets 15 new scenes a day, about one chapter. Unused scenes bank up to 45, so a day away costs you nothing. Reading and rereading your stories is always free.

What does Talekai Plus include?

Plus gives you 1,500 new scenes a month for $9.99 a month or $69.99 a year (US prices; your local price shows before you buy). Plus members also get 300 scenes from each scene pack instead of 150.

Will a story ever stop in the middle of a chapter?

No. Chapters run 12 to 20 scenes. We check your balance before a new story or a new chapter starts. Once a chapter starts, you can finish it even if your balance reaches zero. Only scenes that are written successfully count, and the final ending scene is free.

Are the stories written by AI?

Yes. Every scene is written by an AI model as you play, guided by rules we build and test for each genre. Kai, the guide that helps you pick a story, is also an AI. We say so in the app, and we never pretend a person is writing to you.

Who is Talekai for?

Adults. Talekai is rated 18+ and asks for your birth date when you start. Stories can include romance, violence and horror, at the intensity you choose: Gentle, Standard or Intense. Romance always fades to black.

What are scene packs?

A scene pack is a one-time purchase of 150 scenes for $2.99, or 300 scenes if you have Plus when you buy. Pack scenes are used after your daily or monthly scenes run out, never expire, and stay yours if Plus ends.

What does style mean?

Style is how the story is told. There are 17, from Manhwa style with short, punchy paragraphs and status windows, Manhua style with cultivation realms and system messages, and Light novel with quick first-person banter, to Cinematic, Noir, Gothic, Cozy, Epistolary and more. Leave style on Random and Talekai picks one that suits your genre, or choose your own before you start.

Can I write my own moves?

Yes. Every scene offers three choices, and you can type your own action instead. You can also start from your own premise, pick up to three tropes (or leave them on Random), and name your hero.

Does the story remember what happened?

Yes. At each chapter break, Talekai writes down the people, relationships, powers, places and promises in your story, and uses them in every scene after. In system and progression stories, your stats, bonds, inventory and quests carry forward too. You can open the Codex to see what the story remembers.

Can I read stories based on my favorite series?

Talekai writes original stories. It does not copy existing books, webtoons or games, or use their characters. Ask for a story like one you love and you get an original one with the same kind of appeal.

Which languages can stories be written in?

The app is in English. Stories can be written in many languages; choose your story language in Settings and every new story is written in it.

When is Talekai available?

Talekai is coming soon to the App Store for iPhone. Android will follow later.
